The Grand Prix for Best Film Award from the T-film 2018 film festival was taken by Jan Svatos' Arch of Lights and Shadows.

Grand Prix Award for Best Film – The Angel Statue with a Crystal Heart – was taken away from the multifunctional aula by Gong photographer and director Jan Svatoš for the film of the Arch of Lights and Shadows. The release of the winning film was preceded by almost ten years of preparation, research and filming in film archives, including the Congress Library in Washington. Film presents for the first time unique archive footage from Africa taken in the 1920s and 1930s and uncovers a completely forgotten story of the film pioneers, husband Martin and Johnson. „I value the prizes, because it is the jubilee tenth. And it's great that even though Martina and Axa have not been appreciated in the past, their recognition is at least now, and that is ours. I think the prize belongs to them, "said director Jan Svatoš. The Jury Prize was awarded by Kenneth Biller Genius Picasso (USA) and Anton Banderas in a leading role that reveals the dramatic life of the most controversial artist of the 20th century. The award was given to Lada Dobrkovska, a National Geographic producer of the film, who presented the award for Why National Geographic Popularize Science. She introduced projects dealing with waste, ocean protection, melting glaciers, rescue of endangered animal species and climate change. "The environment is about us all, and it's up to us, how will we behave and what we will pass to next generations,“ Lada Dobrkovska said. The Perse prize was awarded the Ivo Bystřičan History of Disobedience (CR) cycle, Uwe Müller won the Green Planet Award for Wildes Deutschland – Das Erzgebirge (Germany). In the category of Man and Society, the film Bibiana Beňová won „How to Touch the Sky“ (Czech Republic), the only animated film The Earth at My Hands (Argentina) won the Inspiration category. Honorable acclaim belongs to the films of Bufo Alvarius – The Underground Secret (Czech Republic) Filipa Záruba, Road to Canarias Víta Kanyza (Czech Republic) and White Wolves – Ghosts of the Arctic (Germany), written by Oliver Goetzl. This year's jury selected a total of 53 filmmakers from around the world (excluding the USA, Belgium, Spain, France, Norway, Turkey, Germany, Serbia). A composite program for both primary and secondary schools and the public offered not only contest pictures, but also workshops, competitions and discussions with interesting guests. Psychiatrist Jan Cimicky spoke about the secrets of the human soul, Arnošt Vašíček presented mysterious findings, paranormal phenomena, secretive facts, historical questions and top secret conspiracies. Cestovatel and documentary filmmaker Petr Zajac prepared an interesting subject for ceremonies with sacred plants in the Ecuadorian forest. "With pupils of elementary schools, we have tried to decipher the puzzle about whether dinosaur descendants can be hiding in remote tropical forests. Students secondary schools and other visitors, I introduced unbelievable discoveries such as the Sorcerer's Island in Chile, the secret chambers of the Great Pyramid, or the mysterious monkey town god, hidden in the Honduran jungle, "says the mysterio, writer and writer Arnošt Vašíček.
