Four teenagers, everyday life, school, work and a week of life completely without internet. What will seven days off-line bring them? And can they last a week without nets? What do the lives of today's teenagers look like when they find themselves without an internet connection? What does life online mean to them? Are they dependent on him or not? What does such a life bring them and what does it take from them? Do they know? And are they able to manage their lives on their own, or are the vast majority of activities determined by the buzzing of mobile phones? Thinking about how to work online at the same time while staying free. The film follows the TOJEIT campaign (www.tojeit.cz), which popularizes the spectrum of IT professions to high school students in order to increase their awareness of what diverse IT professions are and how they affect our lives. The film is part of the OFFLINE line, which draws attention to the presence of IT in life by cutting them. The campaign was created within the cooperation of the universities of the University of Economics, UHK and TUL and is financed within the Centralized Development Projects of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. Together with the protagonist of the film Kristýna Weberová, Pavel Michalik accepted an invitation to an interview on DVTV, where they answered questions from Martin Veselovský. Is the human being a species that is on the verge of disappearing? More and more studies are certainly showing that male fertility is declining, especially in Europe. This is also being seen at the Fertility Clinic of UZ Brussel in Jette, among other places. According to Dr Herman Tournaye, around 10-15% of men have problems, their sperm is not as good as normal. Men are experiencing a 1.4 million per millilitre decline in their spermatozoa every year. Fewer than 15 million spermatozoa per millilitre and fertility is threatened. If so many millions of spermatozoa are needed in order to b e fertile (while, in theory, a single one suffices for fertilisation), it's because the path leading to the ovum is long and strewn with pitfalls.

The Lamb and the Wolf - Old Enemies? How can they share one country, one home? A documentary about the paths that lead to the coexistence of breeders and their cattle with wolves. The film maps the coexistence of humans and wolves in Central and Southern Europe. Thanks to the increasing nature protection in recent decades, the existing wolf population has returned or increased in many European countries. But local people, especially breeders, often come into conflict with wolves. The film shows the stories of farmers from the Czech Republic who are surprised by the return of wolves and are looking for ways to coexist with them. The story takes us to the Ore Mountains and the Broumov region and shows how local farmers deal with the presence of wolves. They will focus on their way of securing herds, which consists mainly of quality fences and shepherd dogs. The next part of the film, which takes place in the Spanish province of Leon, where wolves have never been exterminated, is mainly dedicated to them. The local herdsman Gregorio breeds Spanish mastiffs and thus maintains a long tradition, which has been shaped for centuries by the constant presence of wolves and bears in the local landscape. Since then, however, the movement of people, whose presence the mastiffs are well accustomed to, has increased in the pastures and therefore seems to be an ideal protection of herds even in an environment such as the Czech Republic. The third part of the film takes us to Italy and shows the inspiring cooperation of conservationists and local farmers, which consists mainly in careful monitoring of the occurrence of wolves around the pastures and in creating individual solutions for each breeder. The document was created with the financial support of the Operational Program Environment.

Grazing and Gazing In the language game used in the title, there is a point that points to two main aspects of the work: one is the cinematic and documentary aspect of the work and the other is what happens in stillness and looking at the frames: something of the kind of what happens in painting. In following the three black cows, I was tried to record the process of their movement and stillness, which caused them to become a dark background for the frames, and each time they presented a fresh and full detailed image of nature to the audience.

33NameDo not give up: Environmental grief
CountryCzechia
DirectorMartin Páv
ScriptMartin Páv
Duration26 min.Year2020
The current state of the planet, global climate change, and the demise of the natural world are bringing feelings of sadness, anxiety, and helplessness to an increasing number of people. Directed by M. Peacock Recently, more and more people have come out claiming to suffer from environmental grief. Walks through beautiful and healthy landscapes, which we used to take for granted, are becoming increasingly rare, and more and more people are awakened by the sadness of losing this value. The feeling that people suffering from environmental grief describe when they learn of the extinction of another species is often compared to the feeling of losing a loved one. Sometimes it is even worse, because while the death of a loved one could not be prevented, the extinction of the animal species did. Some "environmental sufferers" describe their feelings when reading about the ecological state of the planet as if they were reading a medical report on their mother's cancer progression. Even so, wider society tends to view environmental grief as emotional hypersensitivity that has no adequate justification.

Our lives have become the consumer industry, our main activity in the world of global capitalism has become consumption. The industry approaches every human consumption by cold calculation – where goods can be purchased cheapest and most efficiently, and where they can be sold at the highest possible yield. The fact that agriculture, clothing, or mass production of cars and technology are, in a way, plundering the Earth is somehow known. That the same business hides behind the kami, less is known...

In our current period, the rate of disappearance of species is said to be 1000 x 10000 higher than in the past. At Svalbard, we are particularly aware that nature is a storehouse of various material services and resources that we cannot do without, and at the same time that nature is very seriously threatened by an expanding human civilization and that it must be protected. "Before they disappear" is a documentary travel film that deals with the Ecuadorian Huorani tribes, and especially the Taoromenani tribe. The Taoromenani are one of the last two known tribes to voluntarily live in isolation from our civilization. Many years ago, the Taoromenani tribe decided that it did not want to come into contact with modern civilization, and so went to seek its happiness deeper into the forest. On his travels, Jakub came into contact with the Huorani and Waorani tribes, and they have so far appeared in his films. A group of people have separated from the original Taoromenani tribe that they no longer want to live so deep in the rainforest, separated from civilization. And so, although still faithful to their original habits and daily life, they are available to us and the camera. For various occasions, the natives take off their football shirts and invite rubber boots to "dress" in a few tickets and stems, grab a bow, arrows or flusters and "make a play" for tourists or other film crews. The top of the glacier are the illegal mining companies that populate the forest, build villages where many natives end up as alcoholics and essentially destroy the forest itself for money, something that has actually defined them for so many years in the past. A film on the border of knowledge and expedition as another piece of a mosaic about the ecological threat to our planet.
